Application Process

Step 1: Submit Your Paperwork

Complete the online application in full and hit “submit application”.

Request one (1) reference to be completed by a chosen reference. References must be completed by someone over the age of 18, and need to be aware they may be called for follow up questions. Completed forms should be sent directly to volunteer@womensresources.ca

Step 2: Check Your Email

Once your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. Please review it carefully. If you do not see it in your inbox, kindly check your junk or spam folder.

Step 3: Initial Interview

After your reference is received, our Volunteer Coordination Team will contact you to schedule an initial interview.

Step 4: Final Requirements

If you are selected for a position, the following must be completed prior to your start date:

1. Police Criminal Record Check (PCR): We will provide you with a letter to submit to the KLPS or OPP.
2. Documentation: Complete all mandatory onboarding paperwork.
3. Training: Complete all required volunteer training sessions.
