The Women’s Resources Board of Directors is comprised of dedicated volunteers with expertise across multiple sectors. Together, they bring a broad range of perspectives and experiences that strengthen the organization’s governance and strategic leadership.

Sarah Menezes

Vice-Chair
Committees: Executive, Governance (Chair), Advocacy

Sarah has served on the Women’s Resources Board of Directors since 2023. Sarah is a Senior Business and Policy Analyst with the Ontario Public Service, where she specializes in policy development, strategic planning, program modernization, and service improvement initiatives. She brings extensive experience in governance, stakeholder engagement, and public sector leadership. Sarah also sits on the Board of Directors for Community Care-CKL, and volunteers as a youth restorative justice circle facilitator.

Volunteering with Women’s Resources is a personal calling for Sarah. She is passionate about supporting women and families as they rebuild their lives and transition from abusive relationships toward safety, stability, and opportunity. As Vice-Chair, she is committed to strengthening the organization through effective governance, strategic planning, and community leadership while helping advance its long-term vision and impact.

Fun fact: Sarah is the proud mother of two wonderful boys and enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, and practising yoga.
