If You Need Help, You Have Come To The Right Place.

If you need immediate help or a counsellor to talk to about your experience of abuse, please call the 24-hour support line.

If you are in immediate danger:

  • When you are being threatened or fear for your safety, call 911
  • Make noise: neighbours may call the police for you
  • If you can, take the children with you when you leave
  • You can ask police to go back to your home with you to get some of your things

Before you leave, don’t forget:

  • Prescription medications for you or your children
  • Health cards
  • Social insurance cards, passports, other identification
  • Personal papers (financial, legal)
  • Emergency personal belongings (clothes, pictures, etc.)
  • Your child’s favourite toy or blanket
